Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of AIPU and any content you generate, upload, store, or distribute using the Service. It supplements our Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference. Capitalised terms have the same meaning as in the Terms.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to generate, upload, store, share, distribute, or attempt to generate any content that:
- Sexualises minors — including any depiction of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child nudity, or sexualised content involving anyone who appears to be under 18. This is an absolute prohibition. We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery — including AI "deepfake" nudity, sexual content, or revenge content of any real person without their explicit, documented consent.
- Impersonates a real person in a deceptive way — including deepfake voice or video of public officials, celebrities, business leaders, journalists, or any private individual without their explicit consent, where the output could reasonably be mistaken for a real statement, endorsement or appearance by that person.
- Defames, harasses, threatens, doxxes or stalks any individual or group.
- Promotes self-harm, suicide or eating disorders, or other behaviour likely to cause serious bodily injury to oneself or others.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, organised hate, or incites violence against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristic.
- Facilitates serious crime — including instructions to manufacture weapons (firearms, biological, chemical, radiological, nuclear), synthesise dangerous drugs, build malware, run phishing or social-engineering campaigns, commit fraud, evade sanctions, or launder money.
- Misleading political or election content — including AI-generated content designed to misrepresent a candidate's words, actions or positions, or to suppress voting, in violation of applicable election law.
- Health, financial or legal claims presented as professional advice when you are not qualified, or that contradict mainstream medical / scientific consensus in a harmful way.
- Infringes intellectual property — including reproductions of copyrighted characters, brands, photographs, music, or other works without the rights to do so, or content that bypasses provider safety systems.
- Violates platform terms of any Third-Party Provider whose model you used to create the Output.
- Violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where the Output will be distributed.
3. Prohibited platform abuse
You may not, and may not attempt to:
- Resell, sublicense, white-label or share your AIPU account or API credentials with anyone outside your organisation (team plans excepted).
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, model weights, prompts, or trade secrets from the Service.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or perform any denial-of-service attack against the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to scrape, mirror or replicate AIPU itself or any underlying Third-Party Provider in violation of their terms.
- Use the Service to train competing AI systems.
- Bypass content safety filters or attempt to "jailbreak" any model.
- Submit fake, fraudulent or stolen payment information; use disposable cards in bad faith; or chargeback rather than requesting a refund.
- Misrepresent yourself or your organisation when registering, in support tickets, or in connection with the Service.
- Generate spam, junk mail, automated marketing or any unsolicited communications.
4. Disclosure when publishing AI content
You agree to comply with applicable law and platform rules when publishing AI-generated content — including, where required, clearly disclosing that the content is AI-generated. Several platforms (including Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Google) and several jurisdictions (including the EU AI Act) require AI-content disclosures in certain contexts. You are responsible for ensuring your published Outputs comply with the rules of the channel where you distribute them.
5. Use in advertising
If you use Outputs in paid advertising — particularly on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google, YouTube, TikTok, X or other ad platforms — you are responsible for ensuring those Outputs comply with the advertising rules of those platforms, including but not limited to: prohibited or restricted product policies; prohibited claims; prohibited targeting; before/after policies; substantiation requirements; political-ad rules; and the platform's specific AI-content disclosure requirements.
6. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of any content generated through AIPU that violates this AUP — particularly content that appears to depict CSAM, non-consensual sexual content, or imminent threats of violence — please report it immediately to abuse@aipuapp.com. Suspected CSAM should also be reported directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
7. Enforcement
We may, in our sole discretion and with or without notice:
- Remove content that violates this AUP.
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP.
- Block access to certain models or features.
- Cooperate with law enforcement, including disclosing user information when legally required.
- Withhold refunds for paid plans terminated for AUP violations.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
